Eh.
Go ahead and read Bob’s column from 3/7/22. When I saw the first paragraph and a picture was mentioned, I went into full-on panic mode.
Thankfully Bob is still following the rules of the law layeth down upon him many, many years ago.
We were chugging along with the print edition and someone in Hollywood (who I’m still waiting to hear back from regarding my newest idea(s)) noticed. They bussed us out and wanted us to work on a tv show, something to do with six kids and a maid and I think there might have been parents.
Anyway, we tossed around some ideas, and it was Bob who came up with the idea that they were missing a dog. So, a dog was written into the show, and they were off and running.
Something happened between Bob and that original dog. I think it had to do with People Crackers and how one of them wouldn’t share with the other. After only a few episodes, the original dog was mysteriously replaced by another and we were told to leave Hollywood.
Some years later we were summoned back to Hollywood because someone needed help with a show about a dog and some kids that solved mysteries. Ideas were again tossed around and it was Bob who came up with the idea of bringing on a nephew of the main dog to pump up the ratings. It failed miserably and we were told to leave Hollywood again.
So I sued Bob and the ruling was that he couldn’t ever publish pictures of me facing the camera.
Win-win!
