Why Create an Account?
Creating an account at TheWeirdcrap.com gives you full control over your stories. With an account, you can:
- Save drafts of your work
- Edit and perfect your story before it goes live
- Edit previous publications
Please note that all submitted stories must go through an approval process before being scheduled for publication.

If you’ve previously had a story posted on TheWeirdcrap.com, you already have an account! You just need to re-access it. Even if it’s been years, we’ve kept your author info tied to your account. Simply email us, and we’ll help you log in so you can review and even edit your past stories.
How to Register
Click this “REGISTER” link to start the process (opens a new tab).
Choose a username and enter your email address.
You’ll receive a confirmation email — click the link in the email to set your password.
After setting your password, you’ll be directed to the standard WordPress login page.
Log in and you’ll be taken straight to your Account Dashboard on TheWeirdcrap.com.
From here on out, you can log in directly from the Submit with Login page whenever you want.
Why the WordPress Registration?
We’ve moved to using the standard WordPress registration system for security reasons. Originally, we had a custom registration form, but we faced frequent attacks from hackers. The standard WordPress system provides more protection and adds extra layers of security, keeping your account and stories safe from unwanted attention.
