The Journey To HR, Part 125!

Off we went, towards the fields.

Antennas were ripped off of cars and used to whip Bob as he lead the way.

Clothes were pulled off, wrapped around antenna and lit on fire.

It felt like yet another Hallmark movie.

Soon, some people were naked, especially those with the makeshift torches.

The ones whipping Bob remained fully clothed.

So did I since I’m so modest.

I did get a good antenna whip in.

Then we were deep in a field.

Even though there was no wind, there was rustling all around us.

We didn’t pay attention to this.

We just marched on until we came to a clearing.

In the clearing was a pole.

Bob saw this and groaned.

For this, he was mightily whipped with an antenna.

Someone pulled out a roll of Velcro and wrapped it around Bob.

The crowd hushed as the rustling continued.

The bouncer picked up Bob and threw him at the pole where he stuck.

And that was that.

We stood there for a few moments and watched as Bob struggled on the pole then, as one, we shrugged and started to walk away.

The rustling grew much louder.

Hundreds of children suddenly appeared.

“Holy shit!” somebody yelled. “It’s the mealie kids!”

Stephen Johnson

The idea of building a website with Bob came from Stephen in the days of message boards and chat rooms. We settled on the name TheWeirdcrap.com and the rest is history. Retired since he hit the ripe age of 25, he spends most his time doing odd-jobs around the house and digging thru trash bins for "stuff that's still good." Stephen has contributed several short stories and hosted the "Lunatic Ravings" column since the beginning (1999). The idea of writing weekly columns came from Stephen before blogs or blog sites ever existed. So, I guess that makes him THE FIRST BLOGGER IN THE WORLD!!!
