I don’t know what happens to the people who write this column, but Yvonne totally lost it!
She went from being a self-absorbed, independent woman to someone completely paranoid and delusional. Honestly, I’ve noticed Stephen has that effect on people. But it’s not really his fault.
Well, actually, it is.
He frequently made sexual innuendos when Yvonne was around, and his constant barrage of insults is just too much for anyone to handle.
I told him to stop. I made it clear: That was sexual harassment. But he said it didn’t count, because we don’t pay anything. Then, he put his overgrown hand on my forehead and shoved me to the ground. I told him that was bullying, and people don’t take kindly to it these days. He just kicked me while I was on the ground, flicked a cigarette ash on me, and walked away laughing.
Oh, that Stephen. Always the kidder.
But some people, especially those who wear their hearts on their sleeves, take it the wrong way. Yvonne certainly did. So, sadly, I have to announce that she won’t be coming back. I even offered to let her fold the folding chairs after the meeting, but she didn’t give it a second thought. She just stormed off.
So, that’s that.
I thought, maybe, the column might come to a sudden end, but there’s a glimmer of hope at the end of this tunnel!
Stephen says he knows a woman who’d be happy to take over. Curious, I asked what she’s like, and he described her like this:
“Basically, she’s a sinner, a shopaholic, who drinks too much and talks behind people’s backs. All the qualities of a great, entertaining writer!”
