Why I Didn’t Post Anything Last Week

Got an email from corporate last week wondering why I didn’t post anything.

So, I pulled the ole Luther card with an “I’ve been busy!”

I even mentioned the name “Luther” and that made them scramble.

I considered getting some empty glass bottles and clinking them together outside corporate headquarters while asking those inside to come out to play. Again, that would be another Luther thing, but I needed to give them a chance to work on the first one.

Poor Luther. When he was younger he was in a gang, got pummeled due to some misinformation he spread, continued on his life of crime and was shot dead on a stolen bus.

What most (if not all) people don’t know is that after getting that pummeling, Luther forgot who he was. He knew there was a “u” in his name though and decided he would be called Sully in honor of his favorite pilot.

He soon found himself with a bunch of mercenaries and after some airport and driving shenanigans, he was dropped off a cliff and the knock to his head caused him to remember his real name.

Then shot he was on that bus and that’s the end of Luther/Sully.

I’m sure there’s some fanboy out there that will complain about the timeline, but what do they know? Please.

And that’s why I didn’t post anything last week.

Stephen Johnson

The idea of building a website with Bob came from Stephen in the days of message boards and chat rooms. We settled on the name TheWeirdcrap.com and the rest is history. Retired since he hit the ripe age of 25, he spends most his time doing odd-jobs around the house and digging thru trash bins for "stuff that's still good." Stephen has contributed several short stories and hosted the "Lunatic Ravings" column since the beginning (1999). The idea of writing weekly columns came from Stephen before blogs or blog sites ever existed. So, I guess that makes him THE FIRST BLOGGER IN THE WORLD!!!
