And there it was!
Headquarters!
No shiny high-rise here though.
Just a one-story building that used to be home to a Build A Mole store.
For some reason, the previous tenants thought that since kids liked building bears, they sure as heck would just love building moles.
They were quite wrong and our overlords were able to get the building for cheap. They just had to clear out all the mole parts and the previous owners parts as well since they somehow spontaneously combusted.
On those few days that the sun hits the building and filters through the windows, you can still see some ash floating around.
We’ve been told numerous times that it doesn’t pose any health risk, but the suits (when they visit) do wear gas masks.
So wait….
Is there a headquarters above our headquarters?
Wow.
This I pondered as I walked down the alleyway.
I think I could hear my pants making a squishy sound.
“WHO GOES THERE?”

The idea of building a website with Bob came from Stephen in the days of message boards and chat rooms. We settled on the name TheWeirdcrap.com and the rest is history. Retired since he hit the ripe age of 25, he spends most his time doing odd-jobs around the house and digging thru trash bins for "stuff that's still good." Stephen has contributed several short stories and hosted the "Lunatic Ravings" column since the beginning (1999). The idea of writing weekly columns came from Stephen before blogs or blog sites ever existed. So, I guess that makes him THE FIRST BLOGGER IN THE WORLD!!!
