MoTW—The Crazies (2010)
Thursday 8/5
6:00 am: Woke up. Big travel day so had to get the ball rolling. No
dilly dallying allowed.
6:01 am: Turned tv to TBS then grabbed a diet Dew and went outside to
smoke.
6:20 am: Back in the room. Made sure everything not needed was packed
then went back to bed and watched "Married With Children". Why the fuck
not?
7:00 am: The woman woke up and decided to take a shower.
7:15 am: I took a shower.
8:10 am: Car all packed and we headed out.
8:30 am: At the bagel place to load up on some Jersey bagels and cream
cheese. ALso had a couple pre-made for the road.
9:00 am: Sister was supposed to meet us, but hadn't shown up.
9:05 am: Sister called. Car was in the shop again and was supposedly
fixed. She would be by in five minutes….
9:10 am:….and she was. We talked for a bit, she started crying like an
idiot and we told her we had to leave.
9:25 am: Sister's spawn asked us to go visit them at their day camp
thing so we did just that. They were happy to see us and sad that we had
to go. Like I cared.
9:45 am: At mother's house. She had a couple boxes of stuff that she
wanted us to have so we loaded up the car with said stuff. We talked a
bit about stuff and then had to leave.
10:10 am: We were on the road!
11:56 am: 1st rest area. Had one of those bagels. And a smoke.
12:53 pm: 2nd rest area. Had a smoke and peed.
2:15 pm: Stopped for gas. This is the same gas station we stopped on the
way to Jersey. This is the same gas station we stopped at on the way to
Jersey and on the way back to Michigan last year. Weird since we really
didn't plan it that way. Oh well.
3:27 pm: 3rd rest area. Smoked. The woman wanted to play the alphabet
game so we did.
4:33 pm: 4th rest area. Smoked. Peed. Sensing a pattern?
5:05 pm: Entered Ohio. Forgot to write down when we entered Pennsylvania
hour before, but oh well.
5:07 pm: 5th rest area. See above what I did.
5:50 pm: See above.
6:45 pm: See above.
7:53 pm: See above. I'm taking the lazy way out because I want this to
END!
8:55 pm: We're home. Everything where it should be. Animals fine. We
unpack and that's that.
Nothing earth-shattering on this year's vacation. But you read it
anyway. How sad.
COMING NEXT: I finally put my brain to use and write about really
interesting stuff!
