Ralph and I have spent the last week getting to know each other again. It’s been fantastic!!!
As soon as we got home, he put me right to work cooking and cleaning. Hey, I’m a woman and that’s what I’m supposed to be doing!! Every so often, he would have me stop working so I could tell him what had happened to me while I was gone, but these moments didn’t last long because he would get a phone call or fall asleep. His job is definitely keeping him busy!!
When I told him about my pregnancy and birth, he told me that he had even better news for me. He went running out of the trailer and soon came back with our neighbor’s daughter.
I saw that she was VERY pregnant and thought that Ralph would want me to give her some advice. Instead, he told me that she was carrying our child and that I would be a new mommy!!! I am so excited!!!
To prove how much he loves me, Ralph rented out the back room to a couple of girls. He told me that they are from a local bible college and that all the rooms are filled up on campus, so he is having them stay for a reasonable price so that we could have some more money. I guess they built the college while I was gone because I never knew there was a bible college in our town.
Every night, Ralph goes to the back room with the girls and they hold a prayer meeting. I guess this is the type of religion that speaks in tongues because every so often one of the girls screams. Quite frequently there’s also the sound of a hand slapping flesh, which must be their way of striking the devil out of their bodies. When the meetings are done, Ralph comes out looking exhausted, but that’s what happens when you purge the evil from your system!!!
I know I have a bit of evil in me that needs to be purged, but Ralph and the tenants told me that it would take awhile before I could join them in one of their meetings. According to Ralph, the best thing for me to do in the meantime is to pray for forgiveness while I cook and clean.
Soon, I will be almost pure enough to join in their meetings. I can’t wait!!
