We once had four. Two small ones and two large ones. I gave away one of the small ones which leaves us with three, but that’s still too many.
We also have a couple small ladder-type things in the house. That probably means we have five ladders, but I’m only talking about the ladders in the garage.
How many ladders do we actually need? I’m thinking one big one and one small one would be enough. But then there’s that thing where I would have to take one of the large ladders and figure out what to do with it.
I wrote a poem about it:
Ladders, ladders
We have too many
What to do
With all those ladders
It’ll do. Guess we might have too many forks and spoons, but just the right amount of knives. You can never have enough knives. That’s what my parents taught me during the great impression all those many years ago.
If you never lived through the great impression, you haven’t lived! Those were the times, yes indeedy.
I also think we have to much tape.
