Didn’t notice until today that we have new neighbors!
Should have figured it out when there wasn’t a temporary barricade built in the fall season so any leaves in our yard didn’t happen to blow into theirs. This hasn’t happened for a few years, so I just figured the man of the house had died and the lady didn’t care if leaves blew into their yard.
Should have also figured this out when they didn’t care that there were leaves in their yard. That also happened the last few years as well, so I just figured the man of the house had died and the lady just didn’t care.
Imagine my surprise today when I saw the new folks out in their yard picking up leaves. Imagine my surprise again when I noticed that they were two different people!
These are the people behind us. We also had new neighbors move in next to us last year and they seem pretty cool. Not that I’ve talked to them or anything like that, but they did send their son over during the Xmas season to borrow some vanilla extract because they were making cookies and ran out. They even gave us some when they were done.
Who does that anymore?
