There was a scene in a bar and there was a basket of something on the bar and it took me a second or so to figure out what it was. What I first thought it was made me laugh and then when I realized what a generic staple it was, I didn’t laugh.
But………..
A wee bit later I went back to thinking what I thought it was and thought it was quite funny. So funny, that when I finish my script about a family in deep despair over something bad that happened to one of them, I’m going to add a scene so there’s a few laughs. Well, laughs from me a the very least.
So, when I first saw the basket on the bar, I thought it was a basket of spaghetti (funny). Turns out it was just a basket of pretzels (not funny).
This got me to thinking about a bar that has baskets of spaghetti with meat sauce on the bar and people would just reach in like they would do with pretzels and cram it into their mouths. How is this NOT funny?
Family in despair, someone died from a rabid ocelot and they’re all depressed and go to a bar at some point to drown their sorrows where they help themselves to spaghetti from baskets.
FUNNY!
