The Squealing of the Pigs, Part 4

By Bob Senitram
Thinking up the nonsense, ’cause, that’s my job…

Bob just made it to the exit gate when Hector calls out.

“Agent Senitram! I can give you more than Hopalong Hank!”

Bob stops.

“I can provide what you desire the most!” Hector says slyly.

Bob swiftly walks back to Hector’s cell. “And what’s that…Dr. Hector!”

“Respect. Respect from your peers…”

“…and advancement.” The Dr. says slowly.

Bob’s mood changes, “Go on…”

“Seek the man in the yellow hat…”

“Oh come on! A yellow hat! Are you shittin’ me!”

“That is a very good clue! Nobody wears hats anymore.” Hector explains.

“I need more…” Bob pleads.

“I see so much despair, so much anger…you haul a lot of baggage along with that little badge of yours. Look up Dale Yookoum, he was a former student of mine.”

Bob’s throws his hands up and walks away.

Hector yells as Bob leaves, “That’s Yookoum. Y-O-O-K-O-U-M.”

Bob stops.

“Yookoum? What is that? Ukranian?

“Doesn’t matter.” Hector replies.

“Asian? Belgium? Really, what nationality would that be?”

“Un-important! You’re missing the point.”

“Two “O’s” after the “Y”? That doesn’t even make sense.” Bob urges.

“You have you’re precious clue…NOW GET OUT!” Dr. Hector’s had enough of Bob.

Bob spent that evening in the hotel bar. He just wanted to be sedated, drinking shots of Tequila, chased by beers.

By midnight he stumbles into his room, opens his laptop, writes a summary of his encounter, and saved it and went to Bed.

The next morning, Bob wakes up to his phone ringing. “Yeah.”

“This is Dr. Benson. I read your summary and I have a few questions.”

“Uuuuuum, yeah. OK. Didn’t get much, I’m afraid.” Bob’s could feel the blood rushing to his head as he realized he hit sent and not save. He wanted to review it when he was sober.

“Did you follow up on the clues Hector gave you?”

“I checked online, he didn’t have any students named Dale. The clue was worthless.”

“‘You haul a lot of baggage.’ That was the clue. There’s a U Haul with storage units right across the street from where you’re staying. Did you think of that?

“Uuuummmmmmm, not really.”

“Check and see if there’s storage rented under the name Yookoum.”

“Yeah, sure, will do, chief.”

“What?”

“I’ll get right on it sir.”

Bob visited the U haul and found there was a storage unit that’s rented out to Dale Yookoum.

Bob flashed his FBI badge and was taken to the unit.

The attendant unlocked the padlock.

Bob lifted the storage door.

Inside was one solitary item.

Bob froze.

He was stunned by what he saw.

Or do you?

Song in my head:

COMING NEXT: You will be absolutely stunned! Or, maybe not.
