I recently found out that “Beverly Hills 90210” is going to be cancelled!!!!!
What??!!!!
It seems like only yesterday that this groundbreaking television show began.
I can remember me and my friends gathering around the tv every Monday night in order to see what that silly Screech would be up to.
After the 3rd year, my friends either died, got jobs or were in rehab, so I would watch the show with my next door neighbor. Still, the excitement was there every Wednesday night at 8. Me and my neighbor
would drink a shot of whiskey every time Ponch or John passed a VW Beetle.
Alas, it seems my love affair with that wisecracking Rhoda is being taken away from me for good.
I can only hope that the producers can come up with a show called “After Beverly Hill 90210”. They can have all those goofy characters in college or something.
I remember when they canceled “Gunsmoke” after only a couple of years. I was devastated.
Now this. No more “Beverly Hills 90210”.
What next? Cancel “Party of Five”?
