How to Submit Stories, Blogs, Comics, and Memes
We’ve made it easy to submit your stories, blogs, and comics to Alarmingly Strange Stories. Follow the steps below to get your content published with no hassle.
Submit Without an Account or Create One for Easy Editing
- No Sign-Up Needed: You can submit your work without creating an account. Just paste your story or blog and hit submit.
- Create an Account: If you want the option to edit your submission later, create an account. Once your content is published, you can request login access to make changes at any time.
Fiction and Columns (Blogs) Submission
- Enter Your Details:
Your name, story title, year of birth (required to confirm you’re over 13), and answer the antispam question. - Select a Category:
Choose a category (e.g., Sci-Fi, Humor, Strange Stories) from the dropdown menu. - Post Content:
Cut and paste your story or blog into the “Post Content” area. - Upload an Image (Optional):
If you have an image you’d like to feature with your story, feel free to upload one. Your story will be submitted without an image if you prefer. Free images are available here: pexels.com. - Click “Submit Post”:
Hit the submit button to send your content our way. - Wait for Approval:
All submissions need to be approved before they appear online.
Comments:
Once your story is live, you can enable comment notifications by selecting “subscribe without commenting” in the comments section. You’ll be asked for your email, and every time someone comments on your story, you’ll get a notification.
Comics and Memes Submission
- Enter Your Details:
Your name, comic or meme title, year of birth (required to confirm you’re over 13), and answer the antispam question. - Select a Category:
Choose “Comic” or “Meme” from the dropdown menu. - Post Content:
If your meme or comic isn’t original, please include the source so we can credit the website and link back to it. - Upload an Image:
Upload an image (no larger than 500 pixels wide). If you’re unsure about the size, just send it over, and we’ll adjust it for you. - Click “Submit Post”:
Click the button to submit your comic or meme. - Wait for Approval:
Like all content, comics and memes will need to be approved before they appear online.
