The Journey To HR, Part 96!
The HR lady looked at me as I continued to scream.
“Too horrifying for you?” she asked as she waved the mask in front of my face.
“Goodness, golly no!” I exclaimed heartily. “It was the SOUND it made. It gave me the jeebies!”
She tossed the mask to the side and we stared down at the maskless body.
We both screamed this time.
The telephone on the desk rang.
The HR lady finished her scream as she walked to the desk, but I continued.
She picked up the phone.
“Human resources, you’re speaking to…..” she began.
She was silent for a bit.
“Oh, really?”
More silence.
“He did WHAT?!”
Even more silence.
“Thanks for that? What? How much? I thought I paid monthly?”
Silence.
“Ahh, I see. Special circumstances. Okay. I’ll send it over right away.”
She put the phone down.
She sighed and came back over.
We both looked at the body that was twitching ever so slightly, this time without any screaming.
“Someone thinks that after we cut off someone’s hands, you’ll go home and this will all be over,” she said with a smile.
Then we both laughed.
“Og nu ved du det,” said the body.
We both laughed hysterically at this.
