“Well, I did and you did. Therefore, we both did,” said the HR lady.
“No,” I said, starting to get that peeved feeling.
“No?”
That almost peeved me even more.
“No!”
“No,” said the HR lady, almost in a whisper.
I let out a peeved sigh.
“Someone spoke. Not me. Not you. Sure as heck not Star Child Two!”
Star Child Two flew over to me and nodded.
“So,” said the HR lady. “It wasn’t you. It wasn’t me. It wasn’t Star Child Two. Then who was it?”
Star Child Two flew over to her and nodded.
“EXACTLY!” I peevishly exclaimed.
“It was I,” said that same voice as before.
We giggled.
