We tend to think of truth as something that exists outside of ourselves and is discoverable and apparent to all, like a lighthouse beacon shining through and dispersing the darkness.
But truth is no such thing.
In reality there is no reality or truth. Everything just is what it is.
The whole notion of reality and truth doesn’t even pop up until humans get involved.
Because what we think of as “reality” is really just our own notion of reality, constructed for our “selves” in partnership with our senses and our brains.
So really the whole matter of “truth” just comes down to how honest one is being in one’s notions. And of course this is because some people’s notions of the way things are are way more honest than other people’s notions. It essentially boils down to how honest we are being with ourselves. It involves our assessment of the relationships between things, and how and what we even define as “things”, and of what means what, and what is more important to consider than what, and who knows how many other nuances I haven’t even considered.
But every one of those nuances lies in the human mind, and if there be such a thing as truth then that is also where it lies, and nowhere else.
