People talk about the Haves and the Have Nots but what they should really be talking about are the Servicers and the Served. That’s when there is one relatively small group of people who holds the lion’s share of all the money and resources, and then there is everybody else.
You can figure out for yourself which group is which.
Schmelnoz the Incomprehensible told me on his planet they immediately kill anybody who starts to show too much clout. That way, he says, no single person ever holds so much power or influence that they are able to sway world affairs or cause mass disorder, distress or disruption should they suddenly die or otherwise become incapacitated.
Of course he didn’t say it exactly like that.
They don’t call him Schmelnoz the Incomprehensible for nothing you know.
