Did you ever know that oaths are promises were created for liars?
If you are someone who tells the truth then you have no need to swear an oath or make any promises. And if you’re not then it’s not like those things are going to matter to you anyway.
In the Bible Jesus instructs his followers not to swear any oaths or make any promises. Just tell the fucking truth.
(He may not have said it exactly like that.)
And yet, whenever you are getting ready to testify in court what is the first thing they make you do?
It’s no wonder that all the aliens think humans are whack and don’t want anything to do with us (except for the ones looking to exploit us).
